Privacy Policy

Capawble is a platform that helps professional dog trainers build training methodologies and helps dog parents follow a structured daily training experience between sessions. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our mobile apps and the web app at capawble.com.

Who this policy is for

Capawble is used by two kinds of people: trainers (professional dog trainers who run their methodology and client roster on the platform) and dog parents (the dog owners a trainer invites to follow their dog's training). Capawble is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Information we collect

We collect the following, depending on how you use Capawble:

• Account information. Your email address (used to sign in), display name, and role (trainer or dog parent). Trainers may also add a business name, profile photo, and business logo.
• Dog information. Information you enter about a dog, such as name, photo, approximate month of birth, breed, and dietary or allergy notes.
• Training content. Trainer-authored methodology (skills, behaviors, activities, capabilities, and related notes), session records and notes, assessments, and the daily activities, completions, and notes a dog parent records.
• Content you upload. Photos, voice notes, and documents (for example PDF, DOCX, or text files) that you provide so Capawble can help build or apply a training methodology.
• Intake and feedback. Responses to trainer intake forms and any feedback you submit in the app.
• Technical information. Basic information needed to operate and secure the service, such as a request identifier, app version, time zone offset, and error/diagnostic logs. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.

How we use information

• To provide the core service: connecting trainers and dog parents, tracking training progress, scheduling and recording sessions, and surfacing a daily plan.
• To power AI-assisted features. When you provide notes, voice notes, or documents, Capawble may transcribe and process that content to generate proposals (for example a draft methodology or a session summary). These proposals are always presented to a trainer for review, and nothing is saved to your training records until a trainer explicitly confirms it.
• To authenticate users, keep accounts secure, and isolate each trainer's data from other trainers.
• To diagnose problems, monitor reliability, and improve the product.
• To communicate with you about the service, including invitations a trainer sends to a dog parent.

How information is shared

Capawble is built around a private relationship between a trainer and the dog parents they invite. A trainer's methodology and private notes are not shared with other trainers. Information is shared only as follows:

• Between a trainer and the dog parent for a given dog, as needed to deliver training (for example, assigned activities, a shared session summary, and a dog's progress). Notes a trainer marks as private stay private to that trainer.
• With service providers who process data on our behalf (see below).
• For legal reasons, if required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of users.
• In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

Capawble runs on Google Cloud Platform and relies on the following providers to operate:

• Google Cloud Platform (hosting, database, and file storage) and Firebase Authentication (sign-in).
• Google Cloud AI services (Vertex AI and Speech-to-Text) to transcribe voice notes and generate the AI proposals described above. Content sent to these services is processed to provide the feature and is not used to train third-party advertising models.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete your account yourself, in the app under Settings › Delete account. Deletion is scheduled with a 30 day window in which you can cancel it, and is subject to limited exceptions where we must retain data to comply with legal obligations. Some records about a dog outlive the account that produced them, because they belong to the dog and its family rather than to any one person. When a trainer closes their account, the dog keeps its level, points, celebration timeline, and the badges Capawble itself awards, and its family keeps the dog's care log and routine. The records that are specific to that trainer go with them: their assessments of the dog, their private notes, their sessions, and the badges belonging to their own methodology.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can edit much of your information directly in the app. For other requests, contact us at the address below and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), authenticated access, and per-trainer data isolation enforced at the database layer. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices regularly.

International users

Capawble is operated from the United States, and information is processed and stored on infrastructure located in the United States. If you use Capawble from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed there.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
